My love, prayers and deepest sympathy. Jean was one of the very first people who welcomed Howell and me to First Baptist. She has continued to be my special friend at Willow Run for years. I will miss her and am so thankful for her friendship. Love to all the family, Jane

Sorry for your loss. I enjoyed the years I spent with Ms. Jean at Willow Run. She was 10 days older than Mama. She would always laugh about it and tell me to not forget her birthday. It was special to care for her.

Barbara, Dan and family,
Miss Jean lived across the hall from my mother Grace Strickland at Willow Run/Savannah Court and was always so thoughtful checking on my mother when she was ill or when she failed to attend any event. Miss Jean always looked so lovely and always smiled even when she didn't feel well. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Dan and family,
It was such a blessing for us to visit Mrs. Jean every time we were in Greensboro. She was a true southern lady, and so beautiful inside and out. She always had a big smile when she saw Roddy. We are so sorry that we can not be with you all during this difficult time, but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dan, Barbara and family, I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Mrs. Jean was a beautiful, caring lady. Elaine and I lost our mother last August so we can relate to your sorrow. Have peace knowing that she has just begun to live and what a reunion you dad and mom must be having.

Barbara and Dan, Am so sorry to hear about your Mother. She was a sweet lady. She chaperoned my cabin one year at Band Camp in Waycross and was wonderful! She and your Father chaperoned us for the Orange Bowl trip. They were so much fun! You are in my thoughts and prayers.
