Glenn Eugene Borregard

Glenn Eugene Borregard of Eatonton, GA, age 92 passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024 surrounded by family while listening to guitar music played by Stan Roberts. Born in Waukegan, IL he was the son of the late Elizabeth Nelsine Laursen and Raymond John Borregard.  He was a graduate of the University of Illinois where he received his Bachelor's degree .  On May 27, 1995 he married Rachel Ann Long in Fort Lauderdale where they resided before living in Cashiers NC and Eatonton GA.  

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Glenn was a Vice President for Citicorp responsible for their investment bank business in Latin America, Europe, Caribbean and Southeast USA. Glenn never met a stranger, he enjoyed meeting and greeting people, he loved to share his stories and he was always ready to talk about his beloved Chicago Cubs.

Survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Rachel Borregard of Eatonton, GA, he is survived by his son, William Borregard (Jennifer) of Boca Raton, FL; step-son Bryan Long (Shelly) Vicksburg, MI; daughter, Janet Borregard of Madison, GA; grandchildren, Logan Borregard, Brady Borregard of Boca Raton, FL and Alyssa Long of Destin, FL; brother, Lawrence Borregard (Chris) of Clyde, NC.  He was preceded in death by sons, Jeffrey Borregard and Brant Borregard; sister, Gloria Borregard Leslie and her husband James; and older brother, Richard Borregard.
