I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Babe. I had been blessed to see him a little over a month ago and I knew his health was declining. He was a great father, grandfather and great grandfather as well as neighbor and friend. In his home going, we lose one more member of the Greatest Generation. He will be missed and mourned. May God bless the family at this difficult time.

To the family, may God grant you peace and comfort at this time, and may your memories full your hearts with happiness. I will miss my phone conversations with Babe. Who says he never talked? I learned so much about the "old days" in Taliaferro county from these conversations. He was a good man and loved Aunt Ruby.
