Dear Rice family,
My heart rejoices that Miss Helen is walking the streets of gold this morning. It is saddened by the void she leaves in your family. She was such a Godly lady, and she had such a sweet soul. I am out of town, and I am so sorry I can not be there for you.
With all my love,
Lee Duvall Thornton

Dear Durell and Ann,
Becky and I send our love, thoughts, and prayers for you and your family in this time of such a great loss. May the Lord's Spirit of Comfort give to each of you the grace you need the midst of your sorrow to rejoice that Helen is safely in the Presence of our King. Truly, this is our heart's deepest hunger and desire above all others, and Helen's heart if fuller than she has ever experienced before this moment in her life. I look forward to joining Helen and all the saints at the Throne of the Father! You are in our thoughts and prayers. Affectionately, Charles and Becky

Dear Pastor Rice and family,

Please accept my sympathy and prayers for your family during your time of loss. Mrs. Helen was a compassionate, joyful woman, who taught me one of the greatest lessons of my life. Mrs. Helen said the only way to have real JOY in life was to put Jesus first, Others second and yourself last. She lived that motto and I have never forgotten her love and wisdom. Praise God I was blessed by having known such a servant of his.
Praying for you,
Amy Duvall Davis

dear durel and family, i just read about helen's passing in the oconee enterprise. i receive it a week later through the mail. i am so sorry that i did not get to see her. i used to bring my mother to visit her in my mother's last years and it was a touching visit each time(lillian aycock weatherford was my mother). they were very close and age kept them from seeing each other as much as they would have liked to. i would really like to keep in touch with my aycock relatives, so feel free to get in touch at my email. again , we will miss helen.
