My heart is with you all as you mourn the loss of Anna and celebrate her wonderful life. I feel blessed to have had the privilege of spending time with her--what a graceful presence she had about her. I love the quote from Marcel Proust "...memory nourishes the heart, and grief abates." I wish you all many fond memories during these coming days.

My deepest symapathy goes out to you Ejna, Mr. Mortensen, Stephanie & Beth. I know the heavy heart you feel. Take comfort knowing there is no more pain or suffering for your Mom. She is rejoicing with the Lord!

I have so many fond memories of Mrs. Mortensen. Her home was always the hub for the "Hot Lips Club," with never ending backyard kickball games and sleepovers. There is definitely a Montclair reunion rejoicing in Heaven!

Praying for comfort and strength for you all.
Love you,

Jean Chumley Stencel

To the family and friends of Mrs. Mortensen. We don’t know each other personally, but I wanted to let you know that I am deeply sorry for your lost. It is a tragedy to lose a loved one in death. I know that she will be deeply missed. However, I would like to share something with you that might offer some comfort. The Bible mentions that not only will God help you through this situation, but it also helps us to appreciate that we will have the opportunity to see our lost loved ones again. Read Psalms 34:18 and also John 5:28,29.

I hope these scriptures can provide a sense of comfort for you and your family. All of you in my prayers...

We were greatly saddened at the death of Ann and want to extend our condolences to Dave and their three daughters and their entire family. I am sorry for not being able to attend the funeral services due to recent surgery. Dave and Ann have been close friends with us for over 20 years and will miss the radiant smile and sweetness of Ann. God matched these two people well when he brought them together, and He could not have had any other two people to bless his Creation so much. God bless you Dave, for the care you have shown her over these difficult years! May she rest in peace and joy with her Maker. ...........Jim and Ruth Taylor

Ann was a neighbor, in my childhood and I have a memory, I’d like, to share. I was only five years old and I went, to visit and she was busy making something and she showed me, the material and I fell, in love with it. It was blue, with red roses & she said, if she had enough, with some left over, she’d make me a skirt and she did, a gathered skirt, with straps, to cross, in the back. I’ll always remember that.
When I got my iPhone, in 2013, I looked her up and found her obituary and I was so saddened because I. was reaching out, to her. She was a beautiful person!
