My heart and prayers go out to the Yearwood family during this traggic time. Mike and I go way back, from school, on the football field, side by side on the softball field. We even worked together in Eatonton at the axle company for a couple of years. We were life long friends. Always never afraid to tell you what he thought about anything. Willing to help when he could. I will miss my friend. Matthew/aka:Smitty

I cannot tell you how shocked I was to hear of Mike's passing and how truly sorry I am. He was very special to me and I regret not being able to see him since I left Union Point. I will always remember him coming to see me and talk when I would wait for Mama to get off work. I know he was loved and will be missed so much - just remember all the good memories each of you had with him. I wish I could be there for the funeral to personally tell you how truly sorry I am and how much he will be missed.
