I am so saddened & shocked by the tragic lost of one of my dearest high school friends. To know John was to know kindness. No matter how rough a morning I was having at school, walking into Mrs. Stephens English class first thing in the a.m. was just what I needed. John's smile would change not only my day but my outlook for the rest of the day. John this is one friend who will always remember you and think often of your warm and kind smile. Much Love & Many Memories. Love, Jady

With deepest sympathy to the Rhodes Family & Hancock State Prison Family. I'm sad that you are gone but I'm relieved to have know such a great funny and loving man. You were a person that gave far more than you expected to receive from others. John lived everyday thru laughter and humor. I will miss but the good times with him is what will get us all through this sad time.
