Shirely, I just received the email from John Boeckel telling of Norm's passing. I know you will miss him terribly, as will many others. Norm was a great boss and friend to me during our working careers at Goddard. We had some really good times as well as some tragic times. We were in his office watching the Challenger shuttle launch and saw it blow up. Norm really took it hard and wasn't afraid to show his sorrow as he cried (along with the rest of us). He was truly a wonderful man, boss, and friend in addition to a great husband, father and family man. I wish you brighter times in the days ahead. Pat Abell
