Joann was truly one of the best friends I have ever had - I loved her like a mother, like a friend and she was someone I could confide in about everything. I will always cherish her memories - she was also one person who understood my love of animals. I will truly miss her.

In all the places I've been and all the people I've met, I have never encountered another quite like JoAnn. We were friends for 50 years. She was one of my bridesmaids in 1968 and had a picture of my newborn grandson on her family board in her room at Greene Point. To say all I would like to say about her and how much she meant to me would take too much space. So I will simply say she was the best, the sweetest, the dearest and I will miss her.

I was so saddened to hear of Mrs JoAnn's passing. She was a terrific lady, & so strong. She & my grandmother shared a room at Greene Point for a short time, so I got to visit with her too when I was there. She could always make me smile!! She also graduated with my mother. My deepest prayers & sympathy are with you all! She will certainly be missed by many!!
