To the Jordan Family: My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Mr. Jordan. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. When we read Genesis 1:28 and 31, we find that sickness and death were not a part of God's original purpose. With this in mind, one thing that comforted me after the loss of my parents is our Creator's plan to restore his original purpose and make it possible for all mankind (including loved ones we have lost in death) to live forever under perfect conditions. (Revelation 21:3-5; John 5:28,29) It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with the loss of Mr. Jordan and contemplate the hope of seeing him again.

Gladys (and family): We were shocked and distraught to hear of Doc's passing. We had no idea. Since John Box passed, we've sort of dropped off the notification list, I suppose. Doc was truly a gem, and always a welcome sight at the Richland and wherever else we ran into him. He always had a great (albeit warped) sense of humor. We remember that Doc would always have a sneezing fit after a few beers. Now, whenever Monica gets to sneezing, she says she has "Docitis" Sort of an inside joke. Doc will be sorely missed by us. We just wish we had gotten the opportunity to extend our sympathies and say goodbye to our long-time good friend. Rest in Peace, Doffice.
