I've known Mary Virginia since they moved to G'Boro when we were in grammar school. Also, knew Jack for all of my life. She shall always be a 'stand out' in my mind for her Smile, Positive Attitude, Dance Recitals, Cheerleading and Basketball. I just visited her in August for my annual 'sit down' together to share old stories and to catch me up on Greene County and Boswell family events. I admired her for the battle she waged these past years and for the Christian way of waging it. God Bless each/all of the family and may God Rest her Soul , I look forward to visiting with Jack and her someday in Eternity.

Boswell family, Mrs.Mary Virginia was one of a kind. A prayer warrior and a gentle soul, has left a large void in my life. I will truly value her friendship and "motherly" hugs when I could not receive them from my own mother. I will miss her bright smile, and warm heart. She is dancing on the streets of gold and worshiping the almighty on his day! What a wonderful feeling that must feel like. Love, Lee Duvall Thornton

Ralph, Kim and Family: Very sad to learn of your mother's passing. Have such fond memories of taking ballet and tap lessons from her as a little girl up on the stage at Nat Greene...or learning "dance moves" to accompany one of our youth musicals at church! She was always lovely, graceful, elegant and DRESSED TO THE NINES!!! :)) As an adult, I always enjoyed tagging along to Mom's Sunday School Class and getting to spend time with your mom and all the other wonderful women in that group. She had a servant's heart and actively sought out ways to share Christ's love with others. It meant so much how, after Mom passed away in 2010, she regularly emailed me and called Dad to check in and see how we were doing and ask if there was anything she could do for us. I pray that knowing she was a woman of great faith helps to sooth your pain and (begin) to soften the rough edges of your loss. With Love, Rebecca Long (fna Becky Phelps)

Have just learned of Mary Virginia's passing. What a beautiful lady, gracious, endearing, lovely, talented - I reckon I first met her when Mrs. Virginia Harrison became my 3rd grade teacher (and gave me my first paddling in school!) - The family is in my prayers and Mary Virginia's memory will continue to be treasured by all who knew her for as long as we live. God bless all of you.
