So sad to hear we have lost Weldon. I've known him from since I was born in Union Point. He was a great man, loved to be around him and hear his jokes. He always had a smile for me when I stopped by when I came to visit. He will be missed.

I'm from Greene County and knew Weldon & his brother from their Service Station and DRAG RACING...they BOTH were Great Guys and he being older was always helpful in telling us 'younger guys' how/what to do to our cars.... Another U/Point guy in Atlanta died last week, also a Drag Racer... Charles Moody...I worked with Charles & Robert Bonner in Atlanta at Caterpillar Tractor Co. before I moved North to Peoria, IL. to the world headquarters... Best wishes to the Family/Friends there....

Carrol & Henry as I have attended church with each of them & I pray that God will wrap all of you in His arms & give you comfort during this time.

Mr. Weldon and I worked together at Western Auto. I was just a young girl and he was good to me. He always had his cigar (or was it a pipe?) and he always had a big, hearty friendly greeting. I know you all will miss him. My sympathies to you all.
