Zerah Marlene Moody Jordan, age 77, of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospice House in Watkinsville, GA. Born in Madison, GA on March 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Amy Dell Tucker Moody. She attended school at Greensboro High School. She was a spooler for Wellington Puritan Mills in Greensboro, GA and also worked alongside her husband in his company, Jordan Plumbing and Electrical doing his paperwork and billing. Zerah was a member of West End Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as gardening. She loved animals and always had an open heart for rescues.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward "Dub" Jordan; and siblings, Ronnie Moody, Imogene Moody McAfee and Ilee Moody Still. Survivors include her children, Dianne Jordan Foster and her husband Joe of Siloam, GA and Mark Jordan of Greensboro, GA; grandchildren, Zerah JoAnna Foster (fiancé Steven Gunn) of Athens, Jordan Foster (Haley) of Siloam, Megan Green (Jason) of Eatonton and Jason Jordan (Hannah) of Bishop; great grandchildren, Jace and Riley Jo Foster, Weston Jordan, Jase Green and Charlotte Green; other relatives and friends. She leaves behind a faithful companion her cat named White Kitty.
Memorial Services to celebrate Zerah's life will be held at a later time.
