William (Bill) Stanley Monstvil, 77, of Greensboro, GA, formerly of Morton Grove, IL passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Chicago Heights, IL on August 14, 1944, he was the son of the late William Anthony Monstvil and Sophia Godelis Monstvil. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. Bill married the former Barbara Ann Puccinelli of Chicago in September 1965. After many working years at Canon USA and W. W. Grainger Company he retired in 2005. Recently they moved from Morton Grove, IL to Greensboro, GA. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed riding his bike, fishing, hunting and the occasional round of golf. He's gone fishing.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Barbara Monstvil of Greensboro, GA; daughters, Kim Rocklein (George) of Lake Forest, IL and Kristin Valters (Wally) of Greensboro, GA; grandchildren, Ian Rocklein and Megan Rocklein; his dog Dimi; grand-dogs Divot & Doc; other relatives and many friends.
