Walter Mitchell “Buddy” Kimbrough, age 58, of Greensboro, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, GA. A lifelong resident of Greene County, he was born February 24, 1948 to the late James Rosser Kimbrough and Golden Faye Patterson. He attended Meadowcrest School and graduated from Greensboro High School. Mr. Kimbrough worked on a poultry and dairy farm and was a member of Walker United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Shannon Kimbrough of Conyers, GA and Mark Kimbrough of Lawrenceville, GA; two sisters, Henrietta Redd and husband James of Austell, GA and Lynda Morgan of Greensboro, GA; two brothers, James Robert “Bobby” Kimbrough and wife Barbara of Greensboro, GA and Larry Lee Kimbrough and wife Nata of Homer, GA; a grandchild, Ariana Kimbrough; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Walker Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Usry officiating. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
