In loving memory of a Mother, Sister and Friend that will be remembered fondly forever.
Victoria “Vicki” L. Jackson, 67, went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2014 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. A resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for last three years, Vicki was born on January 17, 1947 in Madison, Georgia to the late Clarence Alexander Wilson and Prudence Marie Wilson. After residing in Greensboro, Georgia for 25 years where she attended and graduated from Greensboro High School in 1965 and attending Georgia State College for Women for two years, Vicki relocated to Eastman, Georgia where she lived and worked for over 29 years. She culminated her education by attending nursing school at Heart of Georgia Technical Institute where she earned her degree and certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse working for the Dodge County Hospital, Middle Georgia Nursing Home and Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. Vicki followed the Lord from a young age. She was a member and baptized at West End Baptist Church where you could hear the musical notes of her piano playing any given Sunday in Greensboro, GA before moving her final membership to Cottondale Baptist Church of Eastman, GA.
Vicki lived her life for her Family and children. During her off hours she could always be found at her part time job as a bus driver for Dodge County schools or acting as her children’s number one fan at their music, sports or community events / activities. Everyone who met Vicki could attest to her infectious attitude for life and love of her Family. Even in her final years and with her health declining, Vicki always put Family first and thrived off the happiness and successes of her children and grandchildren.
