Suzette Ruck was born on February 20, 1961, to the late Vernal Agard and Denise C. Pilgrim in Christ Church on the beautiful island of Barbados, W.I.
As a child, Suzette, or “Sue” as her family lovingly called her, was a quiet, soft-spoken but friendly child who easily got along with others. As a child, Suzette attended Christ Church Girls aka Water Street Girls School until the age of 11. Suzette was a bright scholar and later obtained a partial scholarship to attend The Green Lynch High School. Suzette worked in Barbados before migrating to the USA. Suzette worked at Intel and in her free time, she became an active member of a modeling group. At many of those modeling gigs, Suzette regularly had the role of the ‘show stopper’ because of her natural abilities! After Intel closed, Suzette worked as a waitress at the restaurant Boomers. Suzette who had always been ‘model thin’ was a very attractive young woman who returned from an extended trip to England with weight gain in all the right places. Suzette remained drawn to the arts and became an even more popular local fashion model around the sunny island. Suzette later met and fell in love with her loving husband Charles Ruck and they married in 1989.
Later while on vacation in the sunny state of Georgia, she fell in love with its warmth and beauty and soon after, moved her growing family there in early 2000 where she resided until her untimely death.
Sue always wanted a large family and she was blessed to become the proud mother of five beautiful children, four boys, and one girl. Along with her loving husband Charles of 31 years, she leaves behind her grieving children and their spouses: Shawn of Georgia, Troy (wife Amy) of Massachusetts, Taurean of Massachusetts, Charles Jr. (wife Michelle) of Georgia and Chiara Ruck of Georgia. In addition, Suzette had three grandchildren Olivia, Sahmya and Malachi. She also leaves behind her loving mother Denise of Brooklyn, NY, and her five siblings and their spouses: Catherine (Tony) in Massachusetts, Junior in Barbados, W. I., Antoinnette (Mike, (deceased), Brooklyn, NY, Tamika (Melsha) in Brooklyn, NY and George , Jr. in Mesa, AZ. Suzette also leaves behind a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends who loved her dearly. This is a huge loss for the family and she will be truly missed by all.
