Susan Beth (Bierce) Johnson

Susan Beth Bierce Johnson, age 79, of Greensboro, GA passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024 at her residence. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Stephen Bierce and June Helen Atkins Bierce. She retired from James River Corporation as the Territory Manager. After moving to Greensboro she was a member of Lakeside Church at Lake Oconee. She was also a member of the Ohio Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star.  What she enjoyed most was family, dancing, cooking, baking and crocheting blankets and afghans. She also loved her popcorn when going to a movie. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Paul Johnson. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Warren Johnson of Greensboro and his children, Jeffrey Wyatt Johnson and Koa Kalani Johnson, Jim Bierce of Greensboro and his son, Jonathan Richard Bierce; and David’s children, Beth Ann Johnson and Kyle Johnson. She is also survived by her brothers, Stephen Stanley Bierce and Paul Bierce.

A memorial Service will be held on Thursday August 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeside Church at Lake Oconee with Pastor Kevin Magness officiating followed by a reception at the family’s home.
