Stewart Edward Norris

Stewart Edward Norris, 66, of Union Point, GA, passed away at his home on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born in Marietta, Georgia, on June 24, 1959, he was the son of the late Bennett Lee Norris, Sr. and Barbara Ann Stewart Norris. Stewart was a graduate of Oglethorpe County Middle and High School and continued his education at Middle GA College in Cochran and Athens Tech in Athens. Stewart was a self-employed computer and copier repairman, and was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Union Point.

He is survived by his daughter, Julianna Texada, and her husband John, along with their son, Colin, of Knoxville, TN. He also leaves behind his brothers, Bill Norris of Crawford and Dan Norris (Lisa) of Acworth; his cherished pet, Scruffy; and many other relatives and friends. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bennett Lee Norris, Jr.
