Roger Alan Lamb, of Greensboro, GA died on November 21, 2022, at The Glen at Lake Oconee Village in Greensboro, GA, at the age of 77. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 17, 1944, he was the son of the late Wendal Wallace Lamb and Marjorie Eleanor Johnston Lamb. Roger graduated from Dormant High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo in Ohio. He married the former Patricia Ann Ashton on September 2, 1967. From 1977 until 2003 when he retired, he was a Gas Safety Inspector for the Michigan Public Service Commission. After moving to Greensboro from Holt MI in 2003, he volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and the First Call Pregnancy Center. Roger was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro where he participated in Walk To Emmaus. He enjoyed race car driving and boating. He was also a member of Georgia Classic Cruisers. He dearly loved his family and was a wonderful husband and father.
Besides his wife of fifty-five years, Patricia Lamb, survivors include his son, Todd Lamb of Gainesville, GA and a sister, Melissa Danko (Larry) of Paden, OK.
A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 202 W. Broad Street, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev.
