Robin Diane Ladd Hatton
Robin Diane Ladd Hatton, age 55, of Greensboro, GA, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Watkinsville, GA. She was born in Yuba City, CA on June 16, 1962 to Kenneth and Marilyn Campbell Ladd. After high school she received a mortician’s license and a nurses’s license. She married Herman Austin “Jerry” Hatton on March 3, 2001. Over the years she worked as a mortician and also a nurse in a doctor’s office. For the last few years while living in Greensboro she delivered cars for Jimmy Britt Chevrolet in Greensboro and also transported people to the airport. She was a member of Celebration Baptist Church in Greensboro, GA and the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Post 10 in Athens, GA. Her many hobbies included riding motorcycles, baking, cooking, sewing and doing crafts.
In addition to her husband, Jerry Hatton of Greensboro, GA and mother and father, Kenneth and Marilyn Ladd of Sutter, CA, she is survived by a son, Joshua Ray Hubbard of Sutter, CA; three step-daughters, Lisa Elliott, Christina Garcia and Tori Hatton; two brothers, Rodney Ladd and Randy Ladd both of Sutter, CA; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Ladd in December of 2005.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night, May 8, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad Street, Greensboro, GA 30642. A memorial service will be held at the Celebration Baptist Church in Greensboro, GA on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Marr officiating. A Celebration of her life and burial will be in Sutter, CA at a later date. The family request that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 Westpark Drive, Athens, GA 30606.
