Richard Charles Braun

Richard (Dick) Charles Braun, 90, of Greensboro, GA passed from this earth Monday, April 13, 2020. Dick was given life by his creator and was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 30, 1929. He was born to Arnold Paul and Adelheide Wilhelmina Braun. He received the gift of Holy Baptism and became a child of God. He publicly confessed his faith and was confirmed. He attended Detroit University and was a retired Certified Public Accountant. Dick married Margaret Elaine (Burnett) Braun on May 13, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. The Lord blessed them with three children, Debbie, Greg and Jan. They moved from Alexandria, VA to Lake Oconee in Greene County, GA in 1994 to live in retirement and were members of Lake Oconee Lutheran Church.

Dick is survived by his wife, Marge Braun of Greensboro, GA; his daughters, Debbie Jones (Devereaux) and Janette Braun (Mike Roche) and son Greg Braun (Deena); seven grandchildren, Steve Braun (Sara), Meredith Bland (Benjamin), Alex Braun, Laura Robinson (Bobby), James Hemphill (Joy), April Jones and Joella Jones; 8 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bill and John Braun.

A Memorial Service is pending. The family requests that any memorials be made to Lake Oconee Lutheran Church, 1089 Lake Oconee Parkway, Eatonton, GA 31024. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
