Raymond "Ray Ray" Michael Dozetos

Raymond Michael Dozetos also known as Ray Ray of Greensboro, GA, died Thursday, September 29, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. Born in Atlanta, GA on March 24, 1957, he was the son of Beatrice Nickelson of Greensboro and the late Charles Simon Dozetos.    He attended Ariel Elementary School and Cross Keys High School and after high school he enlisted in the United States Army.   After serving a year and receiving an injury he was given a medical discharge. He enjoyed rock and roll music and knew the names of all the artists.  He also enjoyed having his daily coke zero.  He was a member of Marietta Baptist Tabernacle.
 
In addition to his mother, Beatrice Nickelson of Greensboro, GA, he is survived by a sister, Marie Regina Dozetos of Greensboro, GA; brother, Anthony Keith Dozetos of Auburn, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews. 
 
Graveside Services will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Greensboro City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Alec Ward officiating. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
