Randy Irvin Swann

Randy Irvin Swann, age 64, of Crawfordville, GA passed away Monday, February 3, 2020.  Born January 23, 1956 in Washington, GA, he was the son of the late Charles Irvin Swann and Flora Grimes Swann.  Randy attended Alexander Stephens Institute and Crawfordville Baptist School and graduated from Briarwood in 1972.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  On January 7, 1982 he married the former Vicki Lynn Nunn.  For twenty-seven years he was a security guard for the Savannah River Site. He also served in law enforcement as a deputy for thirty years in the Sheriff’s office in Crawfordville, GA.  Randy spent many hours on his beloved farm working and hunting.

In addition to his wife Vicki Lynn Nunn Swann of Crawfordville, GA, he is survived by his daughter, Cara George (Carl) of Pensacola, FL; son Randal Justin Swann (Rebecca) of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Gracelynn George and Jemma George; sister Ann Clemmons of Grovetown, GA; as well as a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2020, at Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N. Rhodes Street, Union Point, Georgia 30669.
