Peggy Yvonne (Owens) Shepard

Peggy Yvonne Shepard of Crawfordville, Georgia, died on Monday, December 19, 2022 at her residence with loved ones at her side. She was 74. Peggy was born in Elwood, IN on June 9, 1948 the daughter of the late Joseph Willard Owens and Helen Louise Wanner Owens. She graduated from Tipton Indiana High School and received a Bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Peggy worked for General Motors as a Supervisor retiring in 2005. She moved from Indiana to Canton, GA and twenty years ago moved to Crawfordville, GA. On March 5, 2009 she married Jimmy Johnson.  Cooking, crocheting, knitting, hunting and fishing were her favorite pastimes.  She was of the Christian faith.  

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Johnson of Crawfordville, GA; daughter, Kelly Robinson (Kenny) of Greentown, Indiana; two grandchildren, Khrista and Karla; and four great grandchildren.
