Paul Alexander ("Pauly") Gray

Paul Alexander “Pauly” Gray, age 71, of Sandy Springs, GA passed away January 30, 2025 at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta. Born January 18, 1954 in New Haven Connecticut he was the son of the late Robert McLean Gray, Sr. and June Carol Wehrt Gray EdD.

Pauly graduated from North Fulton High School and continued his education at Georgia State University and Auburn University. He was an avid swimmer and was an All-State swimmer while at Auburn University. He was a salesman with GNB Inc.

In addition to his parents Robert McLean Gray and June Carol Wehrt Gray, Pauly was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Gray. He is survived by his son, Michael Gray, Bowersville, GA ; sister RADM(r) Martha G. Herb, EdD and CAPT(r) Michael C. Herb, Buckhead GA; brothers CAPT(r) Robert M “Bob” Gray, DMD and Pat Gray, Buckhead GA, David and Rebecca Gray, San Antonio, TX. Also surviving are Jennifer Renee Adams and Crystal Lee Weaver. 

A Celebration of Life will be held March 23, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Elder Stuart Harris officiating and visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
