Pasty Lou Weaver Nash, of Greensboro, GA died Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her residence. She was 77. Born October 6, 1942 in Fayetteville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bryan Weaver and Mamie Landruth Weaver. She earned an Associate Degree in Business from the University of North Carolina Women’s College in 1962. On January 25, 1964, she married Richard Andrus “Andy” Nash and they were married for fifty-six years. She was the Administrative Assistant for the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta until she retired in the early nineties. They purchased their home in Greensboro in 1980 and moved here permanently from Atlanta, GA fifteen years ago. Patsy was a member of Walker United Methodist Church in Greensboro. Tennis, golf and bridge were some of the things she enjoyed. Family was important and she always enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Richard Andrus “Andy” Nash of Greensboro, GA, she is survived by a daughter, Dawn Sinclair (Steve) of Eatonton, GA; son, Bryan Nash (Diane) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Joey Nickerson, Nash Sinclair, Dylan Sinclair and Mason Sinclair; other relatives and friends.
Family Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Walker United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2730 Walker Church Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. John McMillian officiating.
