Patricia "Patt" Ann (Stradley) Channell

Patricia Ann "Patt" Stradley Channell, age 81, of Byromville, GA formerly of Greensboro, GA, died Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Byromville. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Mary Agnes McConnell and James Henry Stradley. She graduated from Chamblee High School and received an associate degree from Lanier Tech. Patt married Jimmy Coplan Channell of Greensboro who was her soul mate and love of her life. Over time she worked for Tenneco Oil and NIBCO as a truck driver. Her favorite time of the year was in the spring when she could enjoy being outside and gardening.  Her main wish in life was to have a family that was happy, healthy and have God's salvation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Channell in 2006, her son and his wife, Ron and Debbie Crymes, her sons, Joe Crymes and Bobby Ray Crymes. Survivors include two daughters, Marsha Dean (Mike) and Mary Patterson (Wesley); son, James Crymes (Samantha); a sister, Mary Nelson, a brother Tommy Stradley; grandchildren, Ethan James Crymes, Jennifer Patterson (Rodney Rider), First Lieutenant Caleb Patterson, Todd Wright, Melanie and Wesley Majors; great grandchildren, Zeke, Lucy, Whitney, Lauren, Amberly and Adalynn; and many other relatives and friends.
