Patricia Brown Seibert, age 88, of Greensboro, GA formerly of Madison, GA died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Born in Jack County, Texas on July 9, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jackson Brown and Louise McClure Brown. She grew up and attended school in Jacksboro, TX and graduated from Baylor University. She was an RN in Jacksboro, TX and also at Emory in Atlanta. For a while she lived in Iowa on the Mississippi River, but had moved to the Sandy Creek area of Morgan County. She was a very talented writer and loved to write poems and stories and enjoyed playing bridge. When she and her husband retired they enjoyed travelling in their RV. After his death she moved to Willow Run Retirement Home in Greensboro and became a part of their family where she met new friends and took part in a variety of activities. Mrs. Seibert was a member of Madison Presbyterian Church in Morgan County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joseph Seibert in 1999 and a brother, Don Brown. She is survived by a son, Donald Richard "Dick" Seibert of Conyers, GA; two grandchildren; William Allan Seibert and Kellie McArthur Seibert both attending the University of Georgia in Athens; and a number of friends.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison, GA with Cliff Graham officiating. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
