Patricia Ann (Meeks) Nation

Patricia Ann Meeks Nation, 70, of Greensboro, GA passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022.  She was born in Greensboro, GA and was a lifelong resident of Greene County. Patricia was born December 17, 1951 the daughter of the late Johnnie Coleman Meeks, Sr. and Mamie Laura Smith Meeks.  She grew up in Union Point where she attended elementary school and graduated from Greene County High School.  Being with and doing for her children and grandchildren, whom she adored, was what she enjoyed most.  She was also an avid reader, enjoyed painting, sewing, and crocheting.  Patricia was a member of Wesley Chapel Wesleyan Church. 

Survivors include her children, Lisa Brown of Greensboro, GA, Derrick Nation (Candace) of Greensboro, GA, Jamie Nation (Renee) of Eatonton, GA and Lindsey Nation (Melody) of Union Point, GA; grandchildren, Jake Brown, Jessie Brown, Cole Nation, Ashley Nation, Bryaton Nation, Makayla Nation, Lynn Nation, and Warren Nation; great grandchildren, Jace and Haydyn Lawson; and sister, Mary Ruth Brown; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and life long friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Johnnie Coleman Meeks, Jr. and nephew, Audy Brown.  

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley Chapel Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Tim Tabler officiating.  Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N. Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669.  Serving as pallbearers are Lonnie Brown, Cole Nation, Bryaton Nation, Jake Brown, Randy Brown, Derrick Nation, Jamie Nation and Lindsey Nation. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669.  Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
