Patricia Anne (Moon) Adams

Patricia Anne Moon Adams, of Greensboro, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at The Haven in Greensboro. A native of Greene County, Patricia was born on October 12, 1937, to the late Lillian Howard Moon and Elizabeth Blanche Ogletree Moon. She was a graduate of Greensboro High School. Patricia was a professional hairdresser and owned her own salon, Patricia’s Beauty Salon, in Greensboro. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Her many talents included sewing, crafts, and cooking.
    In addition to her husband, Victor Adams, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Meadows (and her husband, Milton), and Dean Mansfield (and her husband, Gary); three brothers and their spouses, Lennie Moon (and his wife, Francis), Fred Moon (and his wife, Florence), and Larry Moon; as well as granddaughter Alicia Simpson. She is survived by a special niece, Yalonde Tanner (Hugh) of Covington, GA; her daughters, Sandy Jackson (Stan) of Murfreesboro, TN; Dixie Webb (Mike) of Greensboro, GA; Penny Davenport (Gary) of Greensboro, GA; a son, David Simpson (Sandy) of Greensboro, GA;  and sister-in-law Sherry Moon of Locust Grove, GA; along with twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
    A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church, 1560 Bethesda Church Road, Union Point, GA 30669, with Rev. Bruce Lovin and James Buice officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. The family expresses their gratitude to Peaceful Purpose Hospice and the staff at The Haven of Lake Oconee for their compassionate care.
