Oscar “Kim” Kimball age 78 of Greensboro, GA passed on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. He was born 11/14/1943 in Jacksonville, FL. He also leaves sister Anne Kapke, brothers Tony Kimball, Patrick Kimball, Harry Kimball and son Scott Kimball of Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ginger Kimball, her children Lane Jackson, Linda Jackson Brantley, Scott Jackson and Daughter-in law Josephine Jackson of Greensboro, GA, Grandchildren Gresheine, April, Sarajane, Dawn, Paul and Great Grandchildren Alina Mae, Dayton, Giana Beau, Kira Lynn and Joaquin of Topeka, KS.
Oscar known as “Kim or Kimbo” has been a member of the Lake Oconee community since 1996 residing at Harbor Club, Madison Lakes, Traditions at Carey Station and a member of Christ Our King church. A graduate of the University of Georgia made him a lifelong DAWG fan through good or bad times. After college a member of the U. S. Army reserves. Golf, dancing with his wife Ginger, yard work and football were some of his many hobbies. His favorite holiday was definitely Christmas, as he had a special shirt for the annual celebration. He will be missed by all friends and family for his humor, guidance, honesty and life of the party personality.
No public service will be held at this time. Possible future memorial to be announced. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Alzheimer’s Association of America.
