Mary Fannie (Melson) Nunn

Mary Fannie Melson Nunn, age 89, of Crawfordville, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Tignall Assisted Living.  Born in Moulton, AL on July 20, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Walter Gordon and Grace Yearwood Melson.  On November 6, 1953, she married William Kenneth Nunn of Crawfordville where they made their home.  At the time of his death in 2015 they had been married 61 years. She worked for the Farmers & Merchants Bank as a bank teller. Fannie was a member of Margaret’s Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family and being with her children and grandchildren.
   
Survivors include her two daughters, Vicki Swann of Crawfordville, GA and Karen and Sam Woodford of Franklin, NC; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Randy Swann.
