Mary Alice (Shadwick) Marsee

In loving memory of Mary Alice Marsee of Monticello, GA, born January 1, 1934, in Licking County, Ohio and went to heaven on December 26, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Herman Shadwick and Belva Wine Shadwick and also preceded in death by her husband Robert Marsee and son, Daniel Lee Myers and five Shadwick brothers. She attended school in Columbus, Ohio and went to work for Western Electric which later became AT&T where she worked for twenty-five years.  She enjoyed singing in the choir while living in Lavonia, GA.  She was part of the VFW where she and her husband enjoyed the dancing and entertainment.  She was also part of the Women of the Moose.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy White and Lori Byers, and Mark Byers; daughter-in-law, Diane Myers; brother, Marion “Buzzy” Shadwick; sister-in-law, Deloris (Dee) Shadwick; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and six great, great grandchildren.
