Marie (Miller) Nickelson

Margaret Marie Miller Nickelson, age 78, of Greensboro, GA, died Sunday, August 23, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.  Born in Athens, GA on May 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Willie Mae Bennie Miller.  She was the owner and operator of D & M Cleaning Service.  Marie was a member of West End Baptist Church.  She loved flowers, yard work and was an excellent cook.
    
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Lynn Brown Fiedler and husband Bill of Greensboro, GA; grandson, Jason Brown and his wife Candace; great grandchild, Liam Brown; siblings,  Charlie Miller, Douglas Miller, Lillie Bruce, and Dianne Burgess; other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Fielden Nickelson, a son, Horace Edward Nickelson and a brother, Edward Miller.

Graveside Services will be held, Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Greensboro City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev.
