Katherine Mariah Farmer of Greensboro, GA, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at the age of 20. Born in Augusta, GA on September 26, 2001 she was the daughter of John Paul Farmer of Greensboro, GA and Shannon Marie Flanigan Powers of Greensboro, GA. She attended Greene County High School and was working for Terry’s Cleaning Service. Mariah enjoyed swinging on her favorite swing at Bethel Baptist Church, playing with animals and playing music. During her spare time she stayed busy with her friends and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Shannon Powers and her father, John Paul Farmer, she is survived by her brothers, Ridge Farmer and Tristan Johnson; maternal grandparents, Robert and Gail Flanigan and Jane and Charles Judkins; paternal grandfather, Jimmie Farmer; aunts and uncles, Josh and Sherri Farmer, Aimee and Scott Ginn, Jan and John Harris and Todd and Tammy Callaway; numerous cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Peggy Farmer.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 3981 Union Point Highway, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Bobby Tomlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at McCommons Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Nathan Farmer, Wyatt Farmer, Cameron Tomlin, Mason Ginn, Gage McKinley and Preston Huckaby. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
