Margaret Greenway Burt

Margaret Beatrice Greenway Burt, age 54, of Madison, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 18, 2003. She was born in Morgan County, Georgia, May 12, 1948 to Don Greenway of Madison, GA and the late Ruby Cecil Arwood Greenway. She was a member of Beacon Heights Baptist Church of Madison and attended Morgan County Schools. She had worked for the United States Post Office as a rural mail carrier for the past 20 years.

In addition to her father she is survived by her husband, Robert C. Burt Sr., of Madison, GA; one daughter, Ginger Bruce and husband Charles of Madison, GA; one son Robert C. Burt, Jr. and wife Darlene of Madison, GA; four sisters, Annette Moore, Kathy Wood and Wanda Jackson, all of Madison, GA and Barbara Webb of Greensboro, GA; 6 brothers, Buddy Greenway, Travis Greenway, and Alvin Greenway all of Madison, GA, Crawford Greenway of Rutledge, GA, Melvin Greenway of Winterville, GA and Derrell Greenway of Monroe, GA; and 4 grandchildren, Rodney Wynne, Nicole Burt, Abby Bruce and Trey Bruce.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at Beacon Heights Baptist Church of Madison with Rev. Jack Segars officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Doug Webb, Dennis Greenway, Mack Bohlen, Mack "Bubba" Bohlen Jr., Mike Tart and Robert Little. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Margaret Burt Fund c/o Bank of Madison, 133 N.
