Madeline Helen Drysdale “Maggie” Keith, age 87, of Woodville, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. Born in Cowan, West Virginia, on April 2, 1937, Maggie was the daughter of the late Van Buren Drysdale and Bessie Naomi Brady Drysdale. After high school graduation, Maggie was a metal worker for the Permold Corporation in the aluminum mold foundry, retiring in 1988. She served as the Steward for the Teamsters Union. On June 21, 1978, she married Radford Darnell Keith in Wooster, Ohio. Maggie moved from Cynthiana, Kentucky to Woodville 8 years ago to live with her daughter.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Radford Darnell Keith, her daughter, Nora Jean Hogg, grandchild Kodi D. Hogg, sister Louise Mcilvaine, brother-in-law Dale Mcilvaine, sister Lois Combs and brother-in-law John Combs; brother Daniel Drysdale and sister-in-law Cheryl Drysdale, and brother Hubert Edward Drysdale. Survivors include her daughter Mary Naomi Durden (Mike), and sons Carl Edward Hogg (Katie) and Henry Daniel Hogg. Surviving grandchildren include Della Autry (Cherish), Carl E. Hogg II (Nickie), Elizabeth Douglas (Adam), Amanda Wilson-O’Mara (Brian), Henry D. Hogg (Kylie), Jeanie Jo Hogg, Chrystal Durden, Jimmy Durden (Rachel). Great grandchildren include Jared Noble, Deacon Hopper, Chevy Gray, Harley Autry, Destinei Hogg, Carl E. Hogg III, Brantley Hogg, Harrison Douglas, David O’Mara, Dani O’Mara, Madyson O’Mara, Carolynn Nunn, Caitlin Chamberlain, Chloe Chamberlain, Cooper Chamberlain, Kodi Hogg, Kaysen Richmond, Raylan Hogg, Brezlyn Wohlheter, Kynzlee Hogg, Chiron Fryman; great great grandchild Hartlynn Fogle; several of her beloved nieces and nephews; sister in law Opal Jane Drysdale, and her beloved Yorkie “Little Man.”
