Nancy Loretta Crane Lord of Greensboro, Georgia, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at Greene Point Health Care and Rehabilitation in Union Point, GA at the age of 87. Born in Chicopee, GA on October 3, 1933, Loretta was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Louree Casper Crane. She graduated from Greensboro High School. For many years she was a clerk at Red and White Supermarket in Greensboro, GA. She also worked for Golden Pantry, Jarrard’s Grocery and Moon’s Supermarket. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Greensboro, GA. She loved her grandchildren and had a very generous nature taking care of other family members. She also enjoyed doing word seek.
Loretta is survived by a son, Michael Lee Lord and his wife Kay of Greensboro, GA; daughter, Janice Lord Dolvin and her husband Len of Sparta, GA; seven grandchildren, Bobby Lord and his wife Mary Jane, Amanda Lord Cummings and her husband Brian, Justin Lord and his wife Alisha, Cindi Rountree, Nancy Dolvin Acevedo and her husband Matt, Jenny Dolvin and Kay Lynn Dolvin; twenty-five great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Yvonne Ford, Thomas Crane and Horace Crane.
Graveside Services will be held at Greenview Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Greensboro, GA on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Farrett Boswell officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 at McCommons Funeral Home.
