Linda Jean Calabro Ennis
Linda Jean Calabro Ennis, age 67, of Greensboro, Georgia, died Friday, February 20, 2015 at her residence. On July 1, 1947, she was born in Riverside, California to the late Arthur Felix Calabro and Dona Freda Rumohr Calabro. She graduated from Midwest City Oklahoma High School and earned an associate nursing degree from Oklahoma State University. In November of 1986 she married Donald R. Ennis. She was an accountant with Bridge Partners Management. In 2001 they moved from San Rafael, California to Lake Oconee in Greensboro, where she was very active in the community volunteering with AARP. She was a member of Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church where she often volunteered. Linda had a variety of interest including bridge, traveling, walking, and watching movies. She was also a member of the Plantation Ladies Club and the Bunco Group.
She is survived by her husband of nearly twenty-nine years, Donald R. Ennis, of Greensboro, GA; sons, David K. Murdock, Jr. (Sheryl) of Thousand Oaks, California and Bryan S. Murdock (Beth) of Harrisonburg, Virginia; daughter, Lori M. Ennis of Buford, GA; niece, Belinda Hope Calabro; great nieces, Caroline and Claire; three grandchildren, Savannah D. Murdock, Rachael L. Murdock and Megan A. Murdock; a number of other relatives and many friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church, 6341 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, Georgia, 30642 with Father Roberto Herrera officiating.
