On Sunday, November 3, 2024, Linda Louise Mize Dye made the transition to her Heavenly home. Besides her brief stay at Quiet Oaks Health Care, Linda was a lifelong resident of Greensboro, GA. She was born July 02, 1945, to the late Walter Haron Mize and Hazel Lee Evans Mize. She worked at the local movie theater and at the family store, Mize Cash and Carry. She met Robert H. Dye during her employment at a local textile factory, and the two were joined in matrimony on November 23, 1968. Linda became a homemaker and raised their two children before returning to work in a production role at Wellington Leisure in Greensboro for the next 20 years. Linda was always an avid crafter and spent much of her retirement doing a variety of craft projects and pursuing her other hobby of finding bargains and treasures at local thrift stores. Her most favorite thing was being a Granny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Dye and her parents, Hazel and Walter Haron Mize. Survivors include a daughter, Robin K. Johnson and her husband Chris of Athens, GA; son, Tobey L.
