Lillie Nash Obituary

Lillie Mae Johnson Nash, age 72, of the Macedonia Community in Greene County, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional in Athens, GA. Lillie was born on January 6, 1953, in Cairo, GA, to the late George Washington Johnson and Mildred Bishop Johnson. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia. For over twenty-five years, she was employed at NAPA Auto Parts in Watkinsville, GA. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Ochlocknee, GA. Lillie enjoyed crafting activities such as ceramics and painting, as well as word puzzles. She valued time with her family and loved working in her yard tending to flowers.

Her survivors include her husband, Keith Nash; her sons, Bruce Lee (Patricia) and Randy Lee; step-son, Andy Nash (Mandy); grandchildren, Bruce Lee, Jr. (Emily), Daniel Lee (Courtney), and Brianne Lee; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Dallas, and Colton Lee; sisters, Louise Mitchell and Brenda Fischer; brother, Howard Johnson; sister-in-law, Mary Johnson; along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alexis Lee; her great-grandson, Maddox Lee; and brothers, Royce Johnson and Gene Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Chapel in Greensboro, with Rev. Robert Robinson officiating.
