Lee Howard Yearwood, age 53, of Crawfordville, GA, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at  the University Hospital McDuffie in Thomson, GA. Born in Greensboro on January 27, 1968 he was the son of Edna Echols Yearwood of Union Point, GA and the late Frank Rudolph Yearwood. He graduated from Greene County High School  in 1986 and married the former Kimberly Lea Schuff on March 21, 1998. Lee had a longtime career in the road department with the Georgia Department of Transportation.  He was a member of Margarets Grove Baptist Church in Crawfordville, where he served as Deacon for a number of years. He was very active in the church and always eager to help anyone in need.  He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with anything.
 
In addition to his mother, Edna Yearwood of Union Point, GA and his wife, Kimberly Yearwood of Crawfordville, GA, Lee is survived by his brother Rev. Mark Yearwood and his family; his sister-in -law, Shelly Norris, her husband Steve and their three children; a number of cousins that he was close to; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Rudolph Yearwood.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Margarets Grove Baptist Church, 1791 Margarets Grove Road, Crawfordville, GA 30631 with Rev. Albert Stroup officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Gilbert, Bobby Brooks, Bob Watson, Herbert Rhodes, Donald Clements and Stan Jackson.   McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
