Obituary
Mrs. Laura Ann Ride, age 89, born on March 3, 1934, peacefully passed away from congestive heart failure on April 8, 2023, at her home in Eatonton, GA, surrounded by her family. She was a loving spouse, caring mother and very proud grandmother. Laura was an educator for many years in Atlanta, GA. She later retired from education and partnered with her husband in their real estate business on Lake Oconee. (Bob Ride Realty) Laura is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert S. Ride. Survivors also include her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Niel Loeb, and her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Judy Ride. Grandchildren: Tyler Loeb (Taylor),Taylor Ride (Katy), Emily Loeb, Allison Rainey (Clint), and Brian Franklin, along with one great grandchild, Kloey Franklin. She was also survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Ride Fick, brother-in-law, Bill McNamee, and several nieces/nephews.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Friberg, her sister and brother-in-law, Jane Friberg Lincoln and Dr. Robert Lincoln, sister-in-law, Ruth McNamee, and brother-in-law, John Fick.
No service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following:
