Kirk Andrew Poucher of Greensboro, GA passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023. He attacked his cancer diagnosis in 2016 with resolve, quick-wit, pervasive humor and most of all - unwavering faith. He was born on March 27, 1984 and was 38 years old.
Kirk completed his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he met life-long friends as part of his association with the Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) fraternity. As he entered the consulting industry post-graduation he then received a more applicable master in business administration from Emory University. He was a proud associate of Insight Sourcing Group Holdings, having worked there for over 15 years in a variety of roles.
He loved relocating from Atlanta to Lake Oconee in 2021, giving him the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors - golfing, fishing and boating. His greatest pleasure came from spending time with his three sons - reading (the Harry Potter series), coaching soccer, tubing on the lake.
Kirk is survived by his parents, Claude and Karen (Farr) Poucher, his loving wife of 13 years Allie (Olean) Poucher, his three sons James (9), George (6) and John (3). In addition, his brother Kent Poucher and his wife Emily (Baisden) and their son Thomas, his sister Karly Murray and her husband John.
He will be missed tremendously, but his larger than life personality, ability to bring joy to others, musical beat-box skills, persistence, sarcasm and dedication to his faith will continue to be carried on.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorials may be made to the Emory Winship Cancer Center (https://winshipcancer.emory.edu/support-winship/give/memorial-gifts.html) to continue to help others that may be also battling cancer.
