Kathleen Renee Evans

Kathleen Renee Evans, of Union Point, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, with her family at the age of 56. Born in Atlanta, GA on August 9, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Sandra Jean Young Hampton and Fred Hampton. She grew up in Forest Park where she attended school and was a cheerleader. She was a homemaker and loved being at home with her children and later her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. Some of the activities she enjoyed was being with her grandkids, dancing, and going to the beach.

Survivors include her daughters, Beronica “Bonnie” Jean Martinez, Rosenda Vandiver and Heather Martinez; her sister, Robin Nichole Sisson; brothers, Ward Thomas Evans (Rhonda Evans), Fredrick Eugene Hampton (Joy Hampton) and Robert Jason Hampton (Ammie Hampton); aunts, Connie McCullough, Virginia Morgan and Janice Rocha; 9 grandchildren; Jesse Martinez, Austin Martinez, Carmen Peaks, Carlea Bolivar, Tristan Martinez, Derek Martinez, Alexis Heeringa, Jaclyn Heeringa, and Addison Vandiver; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service in memory of Kathleen on March 23 at 1:00pm at The Palms on Main Street in Greensboro, GA.
