Katherine Faye (Arnold) Nunn

Katherine Faye Arnold Nunn of Union Point, GA passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the age of 68 at her residence. Faye was born in Greensboro, GA on June 16, 1955 to the late Harold “Bud” Sanford Arnold, Jr. and Minnie Lee Lankford Arnold.

Faye was a lifelong resident of Union Point and attended Greene County High School, where she was a Flag Twirler in the band. As a teenager she joined Bethel Baptist Church in Union Point and remained a lifelong member. On August 9, 1971 she married the love of her life, Ronnie Nunn from Union Point. Her favorite things to do were reading, gardening, music, and playing games with her kids and grandkids. She was a homemaker and her family was her entire world. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with them and attending their activities.

Survivors in addition to her husband of fifty-two years, Ronnie Nunn of Union Point, include her children, Tammy Register (Tommy), Scottie Nunn, Rhonda Noble (Tracy), Joni Nunn and Mike Nunn; nine grandchildren; Richie, Kristin, Kelsey, Hunter, Timmy, Vic, Kaitlyn, Riley and Mattie.; 7 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sandra Porterfield and Irene Crane; along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Delane Arnold. 

The family will hold a celebration of Faye’s life Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Siloam Community Center in Siloam, GA. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
