Judith Lynnette “Judy” Leach, 50, of Greensboro died Monday, July 22, 2002. Born July 11, 1952, Judy was the daughter of Robert Lewis and Mabel Eaton Leach of Greene County, Georgia. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. She was a 1970 graduate of Greene County High School and graduated from Georgia College with a Business Degree. She also attended DeKalb Jr. College and Georgia State University. She worked for Tucker Castleberry in Atlanta for 10 years, Southeastern Lithographers in Athens for 6 years and worked the last 10 years for Citizens Union Bank in Greensboro. She was past president of the Printers Association of Georgia. In addition to her mother and father she is survived by a sister, Eloise Hopkins and husband Roger of Union Point, GA; a brother, Thomas L. Leach and wife Annette of Greensboro, GA; two nieces, Julie L. Etheridge and husband Phillip of Eatonton, GA and Heather L. Moon and husband Eugene of Greensboro, GA; one nephew, Chris Leach and wife Stephanie of Greensboro, GA; two great nieces, Cassie Etheridge and Stephanie Ann Hopkins and two great nephews, Cord Hopkins and Adam Hopkins. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Nicholas officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery, Greensboro, GA. Active Pallbearers are Ricky Moore, Jimmy Moore, Allen Eaton, Roger Webb, Johnny “Butch” Jackson, Kenneth Moore and Lyle Allen. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Leach, Gary Leach, Gentry Strickland, Frank Hopkins and Bobby Voyles. The family will receive friends at McCommons Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m Monday night. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 1060 Gaines School Road, Suite B2, Athens, GA 30605 or Liberty United Methodist Church c/o Ann Smith, 2491 Shiloh Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
