Josephine (Wagnon) Bramlett

Josephine Wagnon Bramlett, age 84, of Siloam, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2022 at Greene Point Health Care & Rehabilitation in Union Point, GA. She was born in Siloam, Georgia on November 26, 1937, one of six children of the late Guy Wagnon and Lizzie Andrews Wagnon. She married Emerson Troy “Bud” Bramlett on January 10, 1966. She was a seamstress and worked for Lena Hy in Greensboro, Style Right in Woodville and Raincoat Factory in Washington.  Josephine was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. Along with her husband, Josephine, thoroughly enjoyed camping close to the beach and traveling. 

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Emerson Troy Bramlett in 2010, son, Charles Lee Wagnon and brothers, Jerry Wagnon, Bob Marion Wagnon, Alva Wagnon, and Warren Cosby Wagnon. She is survived by  a sister, Estelle Barlow and many good friends and relatives, especially Tammy Taylor Strozier and the Strozier family and Faye and James Taylor and the Taylor family. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Callaway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Lovin officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669. Serving as pallbearers are Marvin Strozier, Taylor Strozier, James Taylor, Tim Taylor, Kelvin Clements and Donald Clements. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at Callaway Funeral Home. Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
