Jose Luis Gonzalez

Jose Luis Gonzalez, age 43, of Greensboro, GA passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.  He was born on April 8, 1978 in Celaya, Mexico to Jose Luis Gonzalez, Sr. and Eticia Aguirre.  He grew up and attended school in Celaya, Mexico moving to Greensboro in 2003 at the age of 25.  He developed his determination and strong work ethic as a young man in his family’s restaurant business and was working as a waiter at Jalisco Mexican Grill, Inc. in Greensboro.  He had a lifelong passion for music.

In addition to his parents, Jose Luis Gonzalez and Eticia Aguirre of Mexico, he will be dearly missed by his wife, Eleuteria Ramirez of Greensboro, GA; his children, Jose Luis Gonzalez Ramirez, Jr. and Jesus Gonzalez Ramirez; sisters, Saara Gonzalez and Latrcia Gonzalez; brothers, Sergio Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez; and many other loving relatives and friends.   

A funeral mass will be held on Sunday, August, 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church, 3641 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Father Michael Silloway officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669.  A visitation will be held at McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. José Luis González, de 43 años, de Greensboro, GA, falleció el jueves 19 de agosto de 2021 en el Hospital St. Mary en Athens, GA. Nació el 8 de abril de 1978 en Celaya, México de José Luis González, Sr. y Eticia Aguirre. Creció y asistió a la escuela en Celaya, México y se mudó a Greensboro en 2003 a la edad de 25 años. De joven desarrolló su determinación y sólida ética de trabajo en el negocio de restaurantes de su familia y trabajaba como mesero en Jalisco Mexican Grill, Inc .en Greensboro. Tuvo una pasión por la música de toda la vida.

Además de sus padres, José Luis González y Eticia Aguirre de México, su esposa, Eleuteria Ramirez de Greensboro, GA, lo extrañará profundamente; sus hijos, José Luis González Ramírez, Jr. y Jesús González Ramírez; hermanas, Saara González y Latrcia González; hermanos, Sergio González y Fernando Gonzalez; y muchos otros parientes y amigos cariñosos.

Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre el domingo 22 de agosto de 2021 a las 2:00 pm en la iglesia católica Christ Our King and Savior, 3641 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, GA 30642 con el padre Michael Silloway oficiando.
